MaryMakes memory bears was born from the sad loss of my Dad. When he passed, I wanted to create a lasting memory for my Mam to have by her side. Using the shirt Mam adored Dad in most, I set to work stitching together two bears.

Memory bears come in all shapes and sizes, but one thing I noticed was how sad they often look. I wanted Dad's memory bears to be smiley. They had to be happy. They had to be warm, welcoming and have a twinkle in their eyes just like him.

From the day I gifted my Mam her memory bears, Bella & Bertie, I've made it my mission to help as many people as I can create lasting memories through bears.
