How big will my memory bear be?

 

• Bears are one size only. Sitting poison the bears are 14” high by 10” width (foot to back). 12” from paw tip to tip.

How many items of clothing should I provide for the creation of my memory bear? 

​

• At least Two Items of Adult Clothing per bear (Three items of Children's or as many baby grows as possible - minimum of five). Ultimately the more the better so I have plenty to choose from. Please specify if there are items which MUST be used to ensure they take pride of place on your bear. 

​

• Please select similar fabrics if possible e.g. Cotton. Ideally one plain or light coloured item for the face.

​

• The bears are hand sewn so fabrics that are too heavy, thick, super stretchy, or very fine silks are hard to work with

​

• Best fabrics: Cotton,T-shirt jersey, light weight denim, tight knitwear, Night wear, duvets, pillow cases, cushion covers, dress shirts. 

​

• Colour scheme - please choose items which compliment each other and share a similar colour palette 

​

• The items must be clean. ​​

​

• For people without items, I can use the birth month ie. September is sapphire so the bear would be blue. ​

How long will it take to make my memory bear? ​

​

• Bears are made on a first come, first serve basis

​

• Due to such popular demand there is usually a 3 week lead time from the point of receiving your items, however if you have a specific date in mind such as a Birthday or Anniversary then please let me know ASAP and I will do everything I can to work towards this date. 

​

• For special occasions such as Christmas, all orders must be in by the end of November. 

​

Can I give my bear a name?​

​

• Yes! Many people name their bear after a loved one, however some bears don't have names and that's absolutely fine. It's entirely up to you. 

​

• As an optional extra, bears with names can be supplied with a wooden heart tag ‘necklace’ with its name on and a photo printed onto the other side. Please contact me for specific pricing of the name tags. 

​

​Is my memory bear a toy? ​

​

• No! WARNING: These are collectible items only, not toys. Marymakes bears are not CE tested and therefore not suitable for children under 3 years due to small parts used. 

​

• Marymakes does not take any responsibility for any injuries or damages caused in association with the collectible memory bears.

​

• All items conform to EN71 Part 3

Can I return my bear?​

​

• Unfortunately not. Each bear is made to order so we do not offer refunds or exchanges of any kind.

​

• If in the unlikely event you are unsatisfied with your bear, then this will be investigated and reviewed to ensure a suitable solution is in place. 

​

How much will my bear cost?​

​

• £48 per bear with a £10 non refundable deposit. Delivery to be calculated upon booking. 

​
